I.E., is there a way to control the size of the avatar image displayed in at the top of articles by the author plug in?

Yes, you can change image size with simple code CSS, if you need help please post me your site link and we will give you the code CSS ;)

OK, it's right again, thank you.

Seems if I muck about about with the template's GUI "customizer" changes hard coded into custom.css are overwritten. Which explains why my first attempt worked briefly.

Anyway, your suggestions has fixed it. I'll avoid fiddling with the template now :-)

Try to add this CSS rule at your template:
.uk-article-meta .avatar{width:50px;}


in next release we will add a class with own style to author image to remove these problems

I wrote that this worked. It did. But just for one day!? Weird.

Now I am stuck with the oversized avatars in the article headers again.

I redefined both in my custom.css but this seems to have no effect all of a sudden.

Can you clarify which css file and which classes need to be edited to control the size of the avatar in author/ article headers?
