Resolved Limit the choices on a SelectList / restrict the number or choices selected

Hello,

Referring to a post from wayback in 2014

: Limit the choices (https://www.easy-profile.com/support/limit-the-choices.html).

1) Can the limit on the number of selections made already be configured through EasyProfile directly or do we still need additional Javascript?

2) Your solution works for a CheckboxList but what would be the similar solution/syntax for a SelectList type field?

Hi,

1) no sorry, you need to add a Javascript code.

2) you can try with something like this:

jQuery(document).ready(function($){

    jQuery('#jform_alias_of_field').chosen("destroy");

    jQuery('#jform_alias_of_field').chosen({ max_selected_options: 2 });

});
