I want to have two separate user lists with different group of fields showing. A user can be in one or both. I'm beginning to see that this might not be possible. I've created two groups and fields for these groups. I've created joomla user groups to each field group that is assign when user register. I've created two sets of menus like this:

User list x
Profile x
Edit profile x

User list y
Profile y
Edit profile y

I've created search modules for each user list that filters by sql showing corresponding user group. This works very well but now I see that profile links and edit goes to user list x and both group fields x and y are showing on the profiles. Is it not possible to have multiple profile views and editing views based on field group? I just assumed I could have two user lists showing different things all the way but I must be misstaken?

Best regards,
Nina

Thanks for your help, I'm so stupid, I didn't think that my mods would cause the problem.

Hi,
ok, the problem is due to your template override, now the option in user list menu item and user list module is ignored.

You need to update (or remove) template overrides at:
/templates/ot_dergi/html/mod_jsnusers/ (MODULE)
/templates/ot_dergi/html/com_jsn/list/ (MENU ITEM - COMPONENT VIEW)

Hi,
About Profile:
in User List (modules and menu items) you can choose the Profile menu item where to show the user's profile. see screenshot from module options.

About Edit Profile:
Easy Profile extends Joomla user management (not replace), so Registration and Edit Profile pages are the same of Joomla (Easy Profile adds own features with Joomla User plugins) and these pages are totally managed by Joomla.
The only way to manage this is to use "Access" parameter, of course this works but for users in both Usergroups then I think Joomla redirect to the first available Edit Profile menu item.
