How do I get the same Next and previous buttons on my multitab profile edit screen the way you have it on the EasyProfile website? On my site I turned on the tab feature but all I get is a submit and cancel button on each tab. i want to move from tab to tab using a next button.

Using Joomla 3.6.4 and a custom template but I see that we are running a very old version of Easy Profile. Were those buttons added after version 1.4.5 of Easy Profile?

We have an old 2013 version of the extension that our site was built around as a way for people to store their own personal medical and life information that can be provided to others in case of severe illness or death. In this case it is essential that the user checks and keeps all of the information up to date when even one item is changed. I understand that you don't personally see the need for providing the next button during a profile edit session but there are some users (such as us) that would welcome the capability to do this if it was available.

I do not think it is reasonable, why user want to edit own profile? of course, he want to edit some information, therefore does not have sense if he skips what he want to change.

Here we speak about the edit profile (not registration)

If you need that the user fill all required details you can enable option called "Force compilation of required fields", with this user need to fill all required fields otherwise he cannot exit from edit profile page.

Have you tried free version? from our download logs you never download it.

But it does make sense if you consider that if a user hits Submit on any one tab without already making changes to the others the user is automatically kicked out of the edit mode entirely. On a long form if the tabs are at the top you have to scroll all the way back up in order to advance to the next tab. A user that is in a hurry won't think about that and will hit submit which ends the editing session...

But you are doing it that way on your own site it looks like?
Maybe there is a mistake, Next button is available also in free version, but it works only on registration page. In the first question you ask me about edit profile page.

Could you be more specific than just saying it is not possible?
Our support does not provide custom code or do custom works, of course if something is simple then we always try to help our customers. But as I said, this is not possible with a simple way (possible: yes, simple: not).

But you are doing it that way on your own site it looks like? Is it available in one of the premium versions of the extension?
No, because this not make a sense for a profiler extension, if you have 10 tabs and user need only to set 1 field then he need to press 10 times "Next" button before save profile.
