I have made something that the profiles that were supposed to be visible from the front end to public are not... When I click on the profile it says "Error
No Permission". I have tried making several changes at the back end but no results... Do you have any clue where I have made the mistake...?

Ok,
I found the problem.
You have installed publicgroup plugin.
This plugin allow you to specify the public usergroups. We have developed this because some customer want to share only some profile, not all.
You can disable this plugin or set the public usergroups. To set go to administration-> extensions-> plugin manager.
