Hello,

This may sound like a strange request, however.

I already have loads of members on my site thanks to your excellent plugin, however my client also has a list of 500+ names that he would like included in the list of members. None of these names have email addresses - they have been accumulated over the years.

Currently the only way to show a member is for them to register, with an email address on my site. However none of my 500+ names have email addresses (some of them are old age pensioners). I realise I could simply upload the list in a html table format, but my client likes the search & profile feature within Easy Profile, and if I use a html list this feature will not be possible.

I have used your bulk user upload which is also excellent. I have all the names in a csv file ready to upload, but the email field is required!

Any help here would be appreciated.

email field is required!
Yes because is required by Joomla.
You can create a CSV list with false email, example
[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]

You can do this with Excel in one minute.

Hello,

Another update on this - the plugin does in fact write to the table #__jsn_users, but does not display on the front end of the website.

I think I have found the issue though I don't know how to fix it!

I looked at my table and the fields 'year-joined' and 'year-left' show '1999' and '2005' (which is what I entered in the csv file). However my other users show small numbers like '6' or '17' - which I assume is the number of the drop down field (eg '6' = 1995 and '7' = 1996 etc)

I have included a screenshot of the 5 working users (registered manually and working fine), and the one user I uploaded via cvs - note the difference.

Any ideas how I sort this? I hope this makes sense - and I hope this helps you develop the plugin.
