I keep on getting a loop after regsitration on after the client first login and updated the extra information request. Can you please post me your site details to check this behavior? if yes then you can use the form below the reply in "Site Details" tab....probably you have enabled parameter "Force the compilation of required fields" in Easy Profile options.
2) You can use also both plugins, Easy Profile extends Joomla registration (does not replace) so all Joomla plugins will works with Easy Profile. "User - Profile" is a Joomla plugin installed and disabled by default in all Joomla installations, it add some extra field to the profile
Thanks. It seems better since I have unpublished "User - Profile". It careated a separte profile tab on completion that you have to reenter the same information as the fields that I added in Easy Profile
There is no errors displayed anywhere.
5) if you mean plugin called "User - Profile" then not, this plugins is not required by Joomla. Instead the plugin called "User - Joomla!" need to be enabled because it is required by Joomla (with or without Easy Profile)
I do not have "User - Profile" enabled anymore. "User - Joomla!" Is enabled.
I think it my be correct - Dont think Easy profile has any further menus in the component tabs of admin.Yes, this is correct.
Why would the information after update not save in the user's profile?try to check these things:
I also have the "Joomdle Easyprofile profile" plugin enable and using now Easy profile as secondory source of data on Joomdle to publish certain field needed on registration to Moodle. If your system does not save the user's profile then you can also try to temporarily disable these plugins to identify the problem.
Then I have Events Booking - Easy Profile plugin plugin to handle the face to face training events and Virtuemart to handle the online training registration and bookings.
