Hello,

I am getting a "Not Valid Token" error when using the User Search module.

The site is running Joomla! 3.8.5 Stable and Easy Profile Free 2.5.5. I have searched the support forum and tried some suggestions from an earlier thread (https://www.easy-profile.com/support/invalid-token.html).

So far I have tried the following:
- Set module caching to "No Caching" for the Search and User List modules
- Check for any module overrides (none could be found in the Template files)
- Disable browser caching (the System Page Cache plugin was disabled)

Could you please help find the cause of this error?

Hi, the search module worked for us until about 2 weeks ago. The person who managed the site previously is no longer around and I am not sure how he had it set up.

Is there a way to check if the we previously had a Basic or Pro plan? Does the plug in default back to the free version once our subscription is over?

if you have folder /plugins/jsn/socialconnect then you had the Pro version otherwise you had Basic (plugin socialconnect allow you to add social registration/login and it is a feature available only for pro version).

Does the plug in default back to the free version once our subscription is over?
No, now it is free because you have installed free version over the basic/pro. You can use/install paid version for lifetime also after subscription expire.

I checked our files and we do have the folder /plugins/jsn/socialconnect.
It shows it has not been modified since January 2016. No one else who manages the site should have installed the Free version over the Basic/Pro version.

Can we uninstall the Free version to restore it or will we need to reinstall?

Hi,
No one else who manages the site should have installed the Free version over the Basic/Pro version.
This is not possible, check files at /components/jsn to get correct date of installation...keep in mind that free version 2.5.5 was released at 18 Jun 2018.

Hi,

I checked the files and and it does show it was installed recently. Someone in my team must have installed it without notifying me. Thank you for your help.
