Resolved Search placeholder - field issue.

Hi...

Please in the search module, i try to find where to have a place holder to the filed as shown in the image to be Min. - Max. just like you website search, how ever the field does not seem to give me a clue.

How can this be set as min and max.?

Hi,
sorry but I do not know how Google billing works, but keep in mind that this site have many many visitors and uses Google Map also in Home Page (not only in profile/edit profile page) and we have never paid anything :)

oh..ok..

But then i cam seeing like i will be charged monthly , it says :


"How you pay
Monthly automatic payments
You pay for this service on a regular monthly basis, via an automatic charge when your payment is due.

so i am thinking they will charge my card and monthly i have to commit to paying ?

now error is: 
You have exceeded your daily request quota for this API. If you did not set a custom daily request quota, verify your project has an active billing account: g.co/dev/maps-no-account" >http://g.co/dev/maps-no-account  For more information on usage limits and the Google Maps JavaScript API services please see: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/usage


You need to enable billing in the Project.

Google Maps is free?
Google maps should give to all customer 200$ of free credit for each month, so it is free for 99,9% of customers. But to works it require that you enable billing and associate a payment method with your account.

Thank you ..

i enabled the API and the error from the user site is gone,,, see image 1.

however, when when i try to add location based on city , or state of Nigeria. Nothing comes up.. Even when i try the UK or US address that shows as suggestions, after clicking the address.. it disappears.

can you check using the joomschool profile

Dont know where the setting issue coming from all fields are enabled

You need to enable API called "Google Maps JavaScript API", see step 2 at docs http://docs.easy-profile.com/index.php/article/google-maps-api-key

Hi,
in the map module there is not any user to show, it is linked with field called "Company Location", but this field is not published and probably no one user have filled this field.

i created new custom.less file in the template.. pasted the code and the changes are done.

Now please what happened to my MAP module

Its shows as in the image, i have added the API key in the field and did some configuration.. Apparently i am missing something somewhere..

Hi,
in our site in the search form you see a different placeholder because it is not a number field type, it is date field type.
The placeholders for number field type in the search are predefined, these coming from a language strings.
If you want to change the text then you can follow the steps:
- Go to Extensions->Languages->Overrides
- Create new Language Override by click to "New" button
- Fill the form like screenshots, language constants are COM_JSN_STARTNUMERIC and COM_JSN_ENDNUMERIC

Why is the check boxes not aligned properly.. if its vertical, it work straight, but when otherwise it becomes as .. see image
This happen because the options are inline and your template add a margin to the left of each option except for the first option. You can solve it by adding following CSS code to your template: 
.jsn_search_module label.checkbox.inline{margin-right:10px;}

.jsn_search_module label.checkbox.inline + label.checkbox.inline{margin-left:0px;}
