Hi,

We have setup a Search page, but when you first go to the search page, we would like to have the dropdown search boxes have a default value selected. Is there a way to do this?

For example we have a Language drop down and would like English to be preselected when you first visit the page. Then the user can change the selection to change the search results.

I set the default value in the select field for Language, but it doesn't seem to use the default value on the search page.

Thank you

Hi,
you can create a hidden menu item for search, and create a visible menu item of type External URL with this URL:
/brokers?language[]=English

default value is set by URL

NOTE:
we have added [] on field alias because language field can have multiple value,so you must pass this as Array
