Resolved Social connect plugin does not work right.

Hello,

We like to add buttons from the social connect plugin to the profiles of the users. but when we enter the id;s of all in the given fields. We only get the facebook twitter and google+ button visible in the user view. But the linkedIn and Instagram does not work.
Please help.

sorry but it does not work so, these social IDs are associated to the App provided by Social Provider, the purpose is not to create a link from the profile.
We only get the facebook twitter and google+ button visible in the user view.
It's possible that also these links will not works. Also probably the login with Social Network will not works.
But the linkedIn and Instagram does not work.
The IDs in Linkedin and Instagram does not have nothing to do with profile URL, it is association between Users and User ID related to your app/project.

How to create correct links: you need to link user with Social Network by using link feature, see section "Link Existing Profile" in docs at http://docs.easy-profile.com/index.php/article/social-connect-intro

Hi,
fill manually these values is not the correct way, you need to link your profile with link buttons or make a login via social network button.

For example there is not any relation between LinkedIn ID and LinkedIn public profile link.

Hi,
I understand what you have tried to do. But this is not the correct way. These values need to be filled by Social Connect plugin to link your account with a Social Network for login purpose.

The purpose of fields Facebook ID, Twitter ID, Linkedin ID,... is not to create a simple link in the profile, they contain a code that link your user to the Social Network Provider App.

LinkedIn public profile link is stored in the database and you are not able to add it, instead LinkedIn ID is a numeric code. Same as Instagram.

Why some link like facebook works?
Because for some social network the link profile link is generated by same ID used for link user to the API project.
