JSN Social Network uses which seems to conflict with CSS #message used by many template to refer to the Joomla message area.

I had to use a different template to get JSN Social Network working.

If I'm right, I would suggest to use prefixes in the JSN id's

JSN Social Network uses textarea ... id=message in form id=wallform (see attachment of orignal psot) .....
