I have found that the latest version of Easy Profile conflicts with the Login as User app from web357.eu. We use that app to login as users any time we need to help debug a problem or if we need to process a transaction on the website for them.

The latest update to Easy Profile, with the changes to the User Manager, has broken the Login as User app completely. I have a support request out on their website for this as well.

My hope is that both you folks and them can work together to find a solution to this issue.

Do you folks have any thoughts on how this can be resolved?

I understand the problem because unfortunately Joomla not have triggers or events for backend User Manager, so all solutions and improvements are workarounds.
We not have experience with "Login as User", so we need your help to fix this problem, are you available to provide us your FTP login to check how to works "Login as User" and make a fix? if yes we will be happy to find some solution and add this into next release, of course, and add a patch in your site. I have found yet another issue with the latest EasyProfile. It breaks "user pickers" from other apps, or at least the user picker from Membership Pro.

If I try to create a new membership in the backend, I need to assign it to a user. If I click the button to select the user, I can see the list of users in the pop-up, but if I choose one I end up opening that record, not selecting it.

It really looks like your latest updating is breaking a lot of user-based functionality of other apps.

Are there issues downgrading EasyProfile to the previous release? Can you possibly make the previous version available so that people with issues like this can downgrade if needed until these compatibility issues are resolved?

We just experienced the issue with the 'user picker' broken on every component that we tested with after upgrading to Easy Profile 2.2.2. Your plugin patch fixed our issue.
