About component: where you have put the file th-TH.com_jsn.ini? this file should be in the folder /language/th-TH/

About social plugin: try to change folder name from /plugins/jsn/socialnetwork/app/Locale/th-TH/ to /plugins/jsn/socialnetwork/app/Locale/th_TH/ , after this modification please clean the plugin cache from Admin Panel

The second paragraph above worked.

How do I go about translating the following:

1. The category names in social network plug such as Photos, Events, Groups
2. The field names I created in Easy Profile

Hi and sorry for late reply.

Try to follow these steps:
1) A title like "MY PROFILE+" is not valid as Joomla language constant, so change the the tile of the Field group from "MY PROFILE+" to "MYPROFILE"
2) Go to Extensions->Language->Override
3) Filter for language "English (United Kingdom) - site"
4) Click to "New" button and create an override like screenshot
5) Filter for language "Thai (th-TH) - site"
6) Click to "New" button and create an override also for this language

You should make the same for all other fields

TIP: for each language the Joomla translations are written in a simple field located in "/language/override/", so steps 2,3,4,5,6 are necessary only the first time (to create the override file), to add all other translations the fastest way is to edit directly the override file

Mmmmh this is not possible. Anyway I understand that this is necessary for multilanguage sites. On Monday I will send you the modifications to the code with the procedure to translate it (modifications will be added in the next release of the plugin).

I am only able to make translations if the field name are one word, for example

- Email
- Username

However, If the field name has two words, It will not translate, for example:

English:
- Birth Gender

Thai:
- เพศโดยกำเนิด

As a constant, I have tried:

- BIRTHGENDER
- BIRTH_GENDER
- BIRTH-GENDER

None of the combinations work.

you should change the title of the field with something like Joomla language constant, for example "Birth Gender" could become "Birth_Gender"

About Social Network's categories translation: follow these steps:
- Replace file at /plugins/jsn/socialnetwork/app/Model/Category.php with attached file (unzip first)
- now in /plugins/jsn/socialnetwork/app/Locale/th_TH/default.po you are able to insert and translate categories by adding following lines for each category:

msgid "Category Name"

msgstr "Category Name Translation"
