Resolved trigger skeleton bug?

trigger function seems not working for conditional field(being conditionally shown).

Sorry abt it.

I want to set maximum number of character for textarea field and i found out that it can only be done through trigger.

However, my field of textarea only appear with some conditions satisfied, ie.hidden by default and i find that trigger function doesnt work.

Hi,
when a field is hidden its value is reset. So if fields hidden value become empty.

You can write some function like this in skeleton plugin:

triggerProfileUpdate($user,&$data,$changed,$isNew){ 

    if ( isset( $data['textarea_alias'] ) )

    { 

        if ( strlen($data['textarea_alias']) > 200 )

        {

            $data['textarea_alias'] = substr( $data['textarea_alias'], 0, 200 );

        }

    } 

}

NOTE: this code is not tested and not supported, this is only for example purpose
