Resolved Unable to edit or modify a user profile

We are unable to edit an Easy Profile 'profile' on a Joomla 3.10.8 website by any means — we've tried to edit/modify a user profile through the member log in on the front end of the site and also through the Joomla admin interface/users.

Short of going directly into the database we have no way to make any changes — thoughts?

When we either save or save & close the user profile it doesn't save the changes AND presents a blank screen with a URL string for the user profile ID:

.../index.php?option=com_users&layout=edit&id=1130

I can however edit a profile created in Joomla. It appears the issue is with profiles created through Easy Profile

Update: Seems the issue was a space before a user profile name in the database.

sorry for late reply.

Yes, Joomla does not allow usernames like this.

If I try to add a space before the username then I get message "Profile could not be saved: Please enter a valid username. No space at beginning or end, at least 2 characters, must not have the following characters: \ " ' % ; ( ) & and be less than 150 characters long."

I can however edit a profile created in Joomla. It appears the issue is with profiles created through Easy Profile

Have you created these profiles from Easy Profile? Easy Profile extends Joomla user management, so the registration form is the same of Joomla with some improvements.
