Hi

I am still playing on a localhost setup. I thought I would change the avatar. I click change and the upload and webcam options appear. I select the files and it says "Uploading image" and there it stays. I never get to the cropping stage. The image has arrived in the tmp folder.

ok,
maybe I found the problem, in the coming days we will release beta 4 of social connect.

for now try this:
remove the function triggerFieldAvatarUpdate in /plugins/jsn/socialnetwork/socialnetwork.php at line 146,147,148,149...153

Almost there. I click upload, chose the image, it allows me to crop it, when I press save it says saved. It just doesn't change the avatar.

Yes. I select the file, the avatar next to the file name does not change (don't know if it is supposed to), but even after pressing Submit the "human ring" avatar is still there

In the error log we don't see nothing suspicious.
Maybe try with a smaller file.

is difficult for me to understand the problem without seeing your site. :(

I tried smaller images, no luck. BUT...

I noticed that plg_socialnetwork was enabled still. I disabled it and Easy Profile happily took the images I threw at it. I enabled plg_socialnetwork and then tried to change the avatar and the avatar reverted back the the "ring of people" default.

Done this now a few times and the same.

Hi,
you have some issue in your skeleton plugin. the problem is not only on avatar field, easy profile not save nothing.

I tested this:
I have added at line 16 of file /plugins/jsn/skeleton/skeleton.php this to bypass function:
return;

With this works. Now I have removed my test code.
