Hello,
regarding to this post : https://www.easy-profile.com/support/use-email-address-instead-of-username-for-password-reset.html

Is it a way to do an override of this file or not ?
Will be deleted if update ?

I think too it will be a great function to have the possibility to reset the password with email.

Regards

Hi,
sorry but this is not possible natively.

but i have in my site some forms that use the native joomla system for register.
Easy Profile is the Joomla native system. Easy Profile extends Joomla user management not replace it like RSForm. Registration (frontend & backend), edit profile (frontend & backend), login form, remember password form are the same of Joomla with Easy Profile's improvements (plugins and javascript).

For example i use RS Form Pro to open ticket. In this form, i can use it to create the user account. So i have a link in RS Form that grab the joomla fields for register. And in it, i still have the username... Reason of my question.

Hello again, OK, but i have in my site some forms that use the native joomla system for register.
So if i want to let it like that, is it possible with Easy Profile or not ? To have the 2 possibility ?

If no, i have to see if it make no impact for the other stuff i use in my site.

Hi,
you can choose in Easy Profile options to use as login Only Email, with this option you will have:
- the username will be hidden in profile, registration and edit profile pages
- the link in login form to remember username will be hidden
- in the form to reset your password you should see "Email" instead "Username"
