Resolved User profile page no formatted + Error with social network plugin

Hi,

I bought easyprofile today and am having several issues:

When accessing EasyProfile user profile menu (http://www.i-love-bingo.co.uk/member-profile.html), the page is not integrated with my template nor formatted (see screenshot). Yet when clicking on "Edit profile" from the same page, it redirects to correctly formatted page (http://www.i-love-bingo.co.uk/member-profile-area/profile.html?layout=edit) see second screenshot. You can login using test3, test3 to check.

The other issue is that social network does not work and return a error 500 in edit profile when enabled. I read the various posts and suggested solutions about it but nothing worked.

Your support would be appreciated.

mean something to check php error log and backend. Maybe your system not have minimal requirement of Social Network Plugin (http://docs.easy-profile.com/index.php/article/social-network-requirements)

ok now works.

- you have installed and enabled Kunena Tabs plugin, but you not have kunena forum installed. Now I have disabled.
- you have installed and enabled EasyDiscuss Tab plugin, but you not have EasyDiscuss installed. Now I have disabled.

The profile looks fine again thank you.

However it is still returning an error 500 when the social network plugin is enable.

missing menu item of type "Easy Profile - Social Network" (docs at http://docs.easy-profile.com/index.php/article/social-network-installation)

Now I have create this (in Main Menu) and all seems to works :)

I also have another question:
why cant we see the joomla profile fields within the Easy Profile manage user fields component. For example, I would like to change the DOB so that the member is not 18 they cant join. The date of birth field is in the joomla profile plugin but I cant see it in easy profile? Can you explain why?

Hi,
why cant we see the joomla profile fields within the Easy Profile manage user fields component.
You can, Easy Profile extends Joomla user management, so all users plugins like "Joomla User Profile" works, see screenshots

What I mean is that I cannot manipulate the fields from within easy profile component backend.
Sorry I not understand what would you do. Field from Joomla User profile become from User profile plugin, not Easy Profile or Joomla.

I have also noticed that if I click on anyone I can edit their details. Is this normal? Or is it because I am login as a super user?
Yes, you are superuser. You can manage this ACL from Joomla Users Backend (all users that can edit profiles from backend can do also on backend)

Is Alphause point comptible with easy profile?
Sorry, we not have integration with Alphauser point. Maybe in future we will do.

Finally, is it possible to have the jreviews reviews appear as part of the article tab?
No, there is not plugin to do this for now.

Hi,
you can't modify Date of birth field from Profile Plugin, but you can create a new Easy Profile custom fields of type "Date". docs at http://docs.easy-profile.com/index.php/article/create-custom-field

You can change it only in profile page, in edit profile/registration pages is not possible.

You can only set parameters to leave possible to choose only dates for 18+ members, all other dates will not be allowed. see screenshot
