Resolved Users can choose their displayed name.

In registration form I have the fields First Name, Second Name, Last Name and Brandname. I want users can choose their displayed name. The display name will appear in a read only field with javascript in the form. Display name could have two options.
1st option: Name, Second Name, Last Name, Brandname
2nd option: Brandname

No sorry, but you can create a simple plugin to do this:
- Create a Select field called "Choose Name Style" and alias "namestyle" with these options
name|Name
brandname|Brandname
- Download (at the end of docs page https://www.easy-profile.com/docs/44-triggers.html) install and enable our skeleton plugin.
- Edit file /plugins/jsn/skeleton/skeleton.php
- Remove example functions like triggerFieldAvatarUpdate, triggerProfileUpdate
- Add function to do this like this code

triggerProfileUpdate($user,&$data,$changed,$isNew){ 

  if($data['namestyle']=='brandname'){ 

    $db=JFactory::getDbo();

    $query='UPDATE #__users SET name="'.$data['brandname'].'" WHERE id='.$user->id;

    $db->setQuery($query);$db->execute();

  } 

}

IMPORTANT NOTE: this code is not tested and not supported, this require basic PHP and Joomla Knowledge
