Hi I need some help using the new profile visibility, i just cant seem to get my permissions right.

I have user groups setup as standard member, paramedic, towing and call centre

Paramedics can search and find users medical details, photo, medical aid details

Towing can view: vehicle and insurance details

Call centre: view both towing and paramedic rights

Standard members can only view their own profiles

Also on registration:

Only standard members need to fill out all fields
Paramedics, towing and call centre all register by admin

Sorry this is not possible for now, but it is a great feature: login redirect based on usergroup

Thank you two more questions on the JSN tabs I only want the user to go to next tab if tab he is currently on is complete
Sorry but step by step registration not is a feature. We plan to do in future.

when user group paramedic,towing and call centre login they must go straight to search page (they musnt be able to edit their profiles)
Sorry but this is not possible. The component that controls users is Joomla, Easy Profile extend com_user of Joomla but not replace, we can act only on fields.

Thank you so much for the wonderful service, it seems to be working, one question more, when i assign a user to user group which group must i put them in?

Put the user on correct group
User Call centre -> Call centre
User Paramedic -> Paramedic
User Towing -> .....

You can put normal user into Registered Groups and/or into Standard Member

And for some reason when i search using the permissions i get this error: Warning: strpos(): Empty needle in /components/com_jsn/helpers/helper.php on line 344
this happen because in conditions for "Do you have a South African ID" and maybe some another field you have set contain conditions. You have many user(those with Name=formatname) with this field empty. PHP check if in user value contain the strig but if is empty generate an error.
I have changed from Contain to equal and now the warning is gone.
Keep in mind that these are not errors but warnings and on the sites of production may wish to set the PHP directive "display_error" on Off

Hi,
I have created this accesslevels:
- View Profile - Super Admin,Administrator,Towing,Paramedic and Call Centre
- View Paramedic Fields - Super Admin,Administrator,Paramedic and Call Centre
- View Towing Fields - Super Admin,Administrator,Towing and Call Centre

I have set the parameter Visibility Profiles on EP configuration to Custom Access
I have set the parameter Visibility Profiles(Custom Access) on EP configuration to View Profile Access Level (now only Super Admin,Administrator,Towing,Paramedic and Call Centre groups can see the other profiles)

You must set the field access level view on View Paramedic Fields or View Towing Fields
You can create a menu item of type Easy Profile->User List with access level set to View Paramedic Fields with search of paramedic fields
You can create a menu item of type Easy Profile->User List with access level set to View Towing Fields with search of vehicle and insurance details

Sorry for replying a little telegraph, but in my opinion is the best way to understand.;)
