I have set up a required form entry called Registry Type that has checkboxes for Author, Editor, Educator, Reviewer, and Student. (A registrant could be more than one.) I've got the conditions set up to assign Author to the Author group, Editor to the Editor group, etc.

All of this seems to be working fine except when the form is first loaded (on registration), the last checkbox is invariably checked, even though I left the default parameters blank (see attached screen shot). This, then, does not force the registrant to read the entry and select the correct box or boxes.

How can I make the form first display with nothing checked?

hi,
try to remove new line after "student" option.

After student option you have a empty line, so the system add a checkbox with empty value. default value is empty so empty checkbox is checked.;)

In next release we will add a control to auto remove new empty lines

Had to remove screenshot above because it had private data on it. Here it is without that.
