I have approval by admin as an option during user registration.
Activation link was send including the name substitution - thats cool!
After pressing the activation link the account appears “not activated” AND “unapproved” (maybe that is the normal case szenario).
When changing the status to green “approved” and “activated” in the BE the user doesn’t receive the promised email.

Admins have same restrictions for profile edit when i comes to required fields.
Super Admins should be able to safe a userprofile without haveing to give all data.
The user gets promoted to give required information on login - thats cool!
Usability improvement could be to highlight the required fields and to point the user directly to the field in tabed editing mode.

is not a bug, that's correct! block users from the backend or not is independent of approval!
Administrator can block or enable users for other reasons...

only it is not Easy Profile who sends e-mails or manage admin approval.

Sorry, but the registration workflow is managed by joomla (except for the socialconnect plugin).
