When searching for users, the result page includes the custom field values that pertain to individual users. When clicking those field values, the link returns you to that individual's profile page. Instead, when clicking on a custom field value, I would think it should show pages of users with the same field value.
So in my search (domain in site details below), the following link shows all members:
network/people/members
When clicking on the first entry 'Hamilton', this simply links to that same user's profile. In fact all items in her profile, link to her page, Instead, clicking on Hamilton should search for all users on the site with Field 'Hamilton'. Otherwise, what is the point of making 'Hamilton' linkable.
