Resolved custom fields missing when displaying user list from a protected menu item

I setup a menu item to show a easy-profile user list. The list contains 2 custom fields. The list displays the custom fields only if the menu item is declared to be public. As soon a I change the access level of the menu item to registered the custom fields disappear.
