I am trying to set up the Google Map module without much success?
I have followed the instructions
http://docs.easy-profile.com/index.php/article/google-maps-api-key
I have enable the API's and set up the API key.
The google map field is set up in EasyProfile (See Google Map Field)
The map should read the Postcode (see user fields). If I try and enter post code into google maps in my browser is works fine.
But when I try and display the map I see just an image (See Google Map Module output).
I should add I have only set up one user with a post code in their profile (see User with post code).
Any ideas what I am doing wrong??

Hi,
the Google Map field is not available in registration or edit profile page, so it is not filled.
“Search Address Mode” parameter allow you to search a location via custom fields on the map, but the google map field need to be available.

Apologies, but I am not sure what your mean by “Search Address Mode” parameter ?
I can't find this option in the Easy Profile Users Map module or any Easy Profile options.
Also nothing in the field options (see screen shots).
Does the Google map field have to be in a separate Group? it is in my address group at this time, but no displayed on the profile page.
Can you explain a bit more your previous answer.
“Search Address Mode” parameter allow you to search a location via custom fields on the map, but the google map field need to be available
Thanks for your help

Sorry I have now found Search Address Mode!
My map field is set Custom Field using the field Post Code for look up.

So is the problem related to where I place the Google map field in the list of Custom Fields?

Hi,
the problem is that your google map field is not available in edit profile form.

now if you fill Postal Code field then the position of the Google Map field will not be filled.

Ok, I have made the field as part of the profile form. See screen shot User fields
I get the message "Fill all address details to show the map" See screen shot Profile
As I said I only had Post Code field as look up.
I then tried add all the address fields to the Map look up, but I get the same message??
So what am I doing wrong now??

Hi,
I have just tried and for me have worked one time, the problem was due to billing problem of Google Maps, the error is:
You have exceeded your request quota for this API. See https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages?utm_source=maps_js&utm_medium=degraded&utm_campaign=billing#api-key-and-billing-errors

Google Maps is free?
Google maps should give to all customer 200$ of free credit for each month, so it is free for 99,9% of customers. But to works it require that you enable billing and associate a payment method with your account.

Very Strange!!!!
We do have a google account and in fact pay for google services.
I will investigate with Google.
Thanks for finding the problem though.
Kind regards

Sorry I have been away for a few days.
You said in your previous reply ", the problem was due to billing problem of Google Maps, the error is:
You have exceeded your request quota for this API".
Where did you see this message and how did you get to it?
Kind regards

Hi,
I have just tried on your site and now seems to works.

You can see javascript error messages with Browser console* ;)

* Browser console is a tool that allow you to debug the site, for example in Chrome you can open it with "Ctrl+Shift+J" (Windows / Linux) or "Cmd+Opt+J" (Mac).

Hi,
I have tried in your DEV site and works, have you tried to re-enter the "Post Code" value?

To check this I have tried to register an account in your live site, but I need Admin verification to register it :(
