I am having the same issue as this post (locked). https://www.easy-profile.com/support/new-user-activation-email-contains-formatname-as-username.html

The email subject states: Account Details for formatName at...
Body contains: Hello formatName, Thank you for registering at...

I am pretty sure that it boils down to the language file COM_USERS_EMAIL_REGISTERED_BODY_NOPW but am not sure where to go from there, since deleting %s causes the subject to show as "COM_USERS_EMAIL_ACCOUNT_DETAILS"

Strange, I am getting formatName on 2 sites. I had to modify components/com_users/models/registration.php (changed name to firstname)

what version of Joomla and Easy Profile are you using in these sites?

Yes, I didn't test it using the same first and last name as you did, but the issue came from the site that I posted, and I installed it on another Joomla site - the same results. I'm using the latest versions, Joomla 3.51 - EP 1.43 Thank you
