You cannot find the constant in this search, the search find only result from static files.

Anyway the problem is the title of field, you have "Type of Service", but the constant should be something like "Type_of_Service"
Joomla constants cannot contains spaces (now you tried to use alias of field instead the title).

NOTE: when you save a new translation it will be converted in uppercase, but this is not a problem because Joomla JText function ignore the upper/lowercase.

Thank you for your explanation.
I understand well the process but I do not find the variables/constants when I look for them... :-o

I have tried everything: Capital letters, Alias, Single string, ect

In which file of the component are the variables/constants storaged?

Thank you

Hi,
can you please tell me how to find the right variable among all in order to override it?
you decide the variable (language constant).

for example, I want to translate a field title title:
- I set as title for my field something like "MYFIELD" (this is the language constant)
- Go to extensions->languages->Overrides
- Choose language (screen 1)
- Click to "New" button
- Fill the details like screenshot 2

Fast way to make language overrides
Fill all translations for each language can be a pain, but there is a fast way, all overrides are store into file called /language/overrides/en-GB.override.ini (or for example /language/overrides/fr-FR.override.ini for french)
So the fastest way is to edit directly this file with a simple text editor.

Hi,
sorry for late reply, it was night :D

You can use Joomla language constants instead a static string in any part of the field and configure the translations from Extensions->Languages->Overrides
