EP supports Joomla users custom fields which can be shown to the user in a separate tab on a My Profile page.
But also on this tab, where nothing can be edited, a submit button is shown, which is confusing.
Is it possible to show the submit button only on the Easy Profile tab? Or at least add an id to the div with the button, so I can hide it with CSS?
Thanks in advance, greetings,
Eric

Hi,
Submit button is not related to tabs, it is related to a entire form.
Don't you think it's strange to have a Submit button on a tab with non-editable data?
I think it is strange to have a list of read-only custom fields in edit profile page. You should disable option called "Display When Read-Only" (this option is available only in recent Joomla versions, see screenshot)

Anyway, some css id's on the div hcontaining the buttons or individual buttons would help to hide them. Can that be done?

This is correct, during editing profile you can click submit button in every tab, this is not a registration process.

Hi,
sorry but I does not understand, can you please send me a screenshot about this "submit button"?

Thanks, I understand that.
But my question is: on a EP user profile page (front end) EP shows editable items on one tab, and non-editable Joomla Custom Fields items on another.
And on this second tab there is also a submit button, which does nothing as you cannot edit the custom fields.
So the question is: can the submit button be hidden on the second tab?

Hi,
Easy Profile does not manage Joomla custom fields.

Easy Profile extends Joomla user management (not replace), so all Joomla user features will works with Easy Profile (for example Joomla custom fields and Users Plugins from third parties)
