Good evening everybody.
It looks JoomSocial Bridge kind of crashes my backoffice; not completely though: you can see in the screenshot, on the backoffice in the main page it reports a missing table and all the info on the users usually found there are missing.
If I disable JoomSocial Bridge, everything works fine.
I don't use JoomSocial; my site is still offline.
I did try with 2 joomla installations and the outcome is always the same.
You can see in the screenshot how my backoffice main page looks like if I enable JoomSocial Bridge.
How to fix it?
Thanks

Hi,
sorry for late reply, but it's a weekend :D

jomsocial bridge does not launch any query in table called "#__community_users".

Table "#__community_users" is a Jomsocial table, probably when you set to use avatar from Community Answer then it try to load avatar also in backend with a direct query...but..of course you does not have a real Jomsocial.
If I disable JoomSocial Bridge, everything works fine.
This happen because Community Answer check if a component with alias "com_community" is enabled. so when you enable the Bridge then it detect that Jomsocial is installed.

How to fix it?
Have you this error only in the Home of backend? if yes then probably you need only to disable a Community Answer backend module the cause this error from Extensions->Modules->Filter By "Administrator" (see screenshot)...I suppose there is a Community Answer module that show some statistics in your backend that load Jomsocial infos with a direct Query.

NOTE: These are only suppositions, to give you a more precise reply I need to access to your backend.

You apologize for the late reply? I didn't expect you to reply as it's sunday! Thank you so much, I appreciate!
However, I found the culprit: it's a module provided by my template showing users, like you can see in the screenshot.
What it does, it retrieves info about users from components such Joomla Users, that is the default one, K2, or JoomSocial if I have JoomSocial Bridge enabled. However, if JoomSocial is enabled, it doesn't work with any component.
I can disable it, I don't need it that much, for now. Of course if it could be fixed it would be better.
However, I'm noticing something a bit strange: JoomSocial Bridge is disabled and I still see the avatars in the front end...how come?
thank you!

Hi,
probably these avatars comes from K2 component.

Still...probably the module in backend that cause error not come from Community Answer but from the module called "JA Users". I assume this from your new screenshot. I thinks this module is totally useless, it check all your components that support avatars and show in backend Control Panel.

You can disable it from Extensions->Modules->Filter By "Administrator"

Yes, that's what I meant, JaUsers is the problem. I disable it, it doesn't do much.
However, I'm puzzled...the avatars can come only from EasyProfile...I disable JoomSocial and they're still there...cleared the cache on Joomla, on firefox...and still there...strange..
Again many thanks!

Is not so, K2 and Community Answer have a own Avatar management.

Can you please send some screenshot to understand better where do you show these avatars?

Hi, sorry for the late reply.
I said that avatar can come only from Easy profile because I didn't do anything with K2: I just installed it and so far, didn't even create an Item; Community Answer, it just retrieves the avatar from other components, like JoomSocial; after installing JoomSocial Bridge avatars do show up if I select JoomSocial from Community Answers options. The point is, avatars are still there even after disabling JoomSocial bridge. They are just where they are supposed to be, everything works, the point is....if I disable JoomSocial bridge they should disappear right? But...they're still there!
that's not a big deal, I was just curious to know and maybe for you guys it may be interesting to know.

Is not so, some component (and probably also Community Answer) does not check if Jomsocial (Bridge or original component) is enabled or not, it simply check if it is installed by checking if exist some core Jomsocial file.
