Hi,

When i create an upload field in the frontend, the is uploaded to the images/profile directory. When i try to access this from the frontend, no problem. However, when i try to access the file from the backend, it automatically sends me to the administrator directory. Therefor the file is not available.

How can i get the file path to go to the correct URL from the backend?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,
this is a bug thanks for your report.

You can fix this by replace line 41 on file /administrator/components/com_jsn/models/fields/filetype.php from
if($this->value && file_exists(JPATH_SITE.'/'.$this->value)) $html[]='<div><a href="'.$this->value.'">'.$this->value.'</a></div>';

to
if($this->value && file_exists(JPATH_SITE.'/'.$this->value)) $html[]='<div><a href="'.JURI::root().$this->value.'">'.$this->value.'</a></div>';
