confirmation before deletion

This is already integrated, before delete an account the user need to:
- Go to tab - "Delete Account"
- Select the checkbox - "Yes, I want to delete my account"
- Click to button - "Delete my account, this action will not be reversible!!"
- Click yes to the alert - "Are you sure?"
Something of more complex risks not being GDPR compliant.

This is a good point.

option to send an information mail to the superusers about the deletion and with the survey added

This is already a feature, an email will be sent to all administrators that are able to receive system emails (for example like Joomla updates)


Why this is not an official plugin?
We have developed this plugin during the Joomla transition to become GDPR compliant, now Joomla contain a own built-in Privacy component that allow a user to request to export or remove their informations. The built-in Joomla Privacy component offers APIs to make all third party components to be integrated directly in Joomla. For example in Easy Profile package there is a plugin called "Easy Profile - Privacy plugin" and it allow to Joomla Privacy system of export Easy Profile informations (with all informations from other components).

If you prefer to use this plugin than in the next week we can implement the "reasons" textarea and send you the new installation file.

I prefer to work with the file you provided. An implementation of a "reasons" texaria would be really great!

I too would be very interested in a text area of why someone is deleting their account. Ideally I would like to add a field, do you want to be deleted from your Regional Groups Database, as an example. Also receiving the details of the user who has deleted their accounts is essential.
