Hi,

I am using Easyprofile to create a local french caregiver directory.
Associated to this directory, I have created a search form with 4 search fields (Name, Type of caregiver, skills , town).

I have choose a "Select" Field Type for the skills (see list of skills in skills.txt attached).

I have 2 problems :

1 - Some caracters ( like "é", "è", "/", "-", "à", "â", " ' "...) seems to produce a problem when skills search field is used ( eg. when i choose some skills - like "Activité physique adaptée / Sport santé" for a A profile and then I search a profile with this skill, the A profile does not appear in results). For the moment, my only solution is to use capitals letter and no use of "special" cararcters like "/" or "-".

2 - When I choose more then 8/12 skills for a A profile, no skill at all will appear in the A profile page. I suppose there is a limit of caracters in the skills fields. I can't find a solution to this problem.

Thanks for your help.

Fred

PS: I have selected "Easy Profile Bug Report category" for this message but maybe it is not a Bug; maybe just a wrong use from me with this great component.

Hi again,

I have found a solution to point 2) (see skills2.txt) :

1|ACTIVITE PHYSIQUE ADAPTEE SPORT SANTE
2|ACTIVITE PHYSIQUE ET MALADIE CHRONIQUE
3|ACUPUNCTURE
4|ADDICTOLOGIE
5|ADOLESCENTS
6|ADULTES
7|ALCOOLOGIE
8|ALGOLOGIE
9|ALLERGOLOGIE
...

This won't work if I select all of the 110 skills (because I supppose it wll fill the field with more than 256 caracters but this won't be a real case; some people may have 30 differents skills but not a lot more (and in this case, it works now).

Thanks
