Hi,

I get complaints from users of my site. When they register, a mail including the mail address and password thy used to registered is sent to them. They say this is not save, it concerns privacy issues (this is an issue in the Netherlands in general). Can Easy Profile be adjusted in a way that eighter 2 mails are sent, one with the mail address and one with a password. Or that Easy profile doesn't include the password in the confirmation mail after registration? Are do you have other means to avoid privacy issues during registration confirmation?

This is not possible, Email is sent by Joomla and not Easy Profile.

Or that Easy profile doesn't include the password in the confirmation mail after registration?

Yes this is possible, because it is allowed by Joomla. You will find a paramater called "Send Password" at Administration->Users->Manage->Options (button).

Are do you have other means to avoid privacy issues during registration confirmation?

Easy Profile extends Joomla user management (not replace), so registration email is sent by Joomla. There are different ways to customize notifications but require third-party plugins, fo example AcyMailing Enterprise should allow you to customize all Joomla email notifications.
