The default maintenance update notice within the Joomla Control Panel does not show when an update is available for EasyProfile. It's only when navigating to the component do you see that an update is available.
Additionally, I use a free Joomla plugin that notifies me when updates are available for various components, plugins, etc on the sites I manage. It works with most components, but for some reason it does not notify me when updates are available for EasyProfile either. I think your program is terrific but would like to keep it up to date. I manage many sites and can't look through each component on each site.
Can you include update notices, either within Joomla core or perhaps look into adding EasySocial to this simple notifier tool? https://compojoom.com/joomla-extensions/cupdater-notification-system
