Resolved Username availability check

Just want to clarify 2 questions:

1. Can the username field be validated if already existing even before submitting the form? I have 3 tabs in my form with 'Account Credentials' being the first. Users will enter their desired username in this tab. What I want is to check if his entered username is already taken. He can only proceed to the 'Next' tab if the username is available Is this possible?.

2. Why can't the middlename (secondname) be enabled?

Hi,

1) sorry this is not possible

2) you can enable middle name from Easy Profile configuration (Components->Easy Profile->Options->Core Fields->Name Style parameter). Middle name will be also a part of Joomla full name.

On my system it is not possible.

Hi,
you need to enable this field by set parameter called "Name Style" to "First Name, Middle Name, Last Name" from Components->Easy Profile->Options->Core Fields->Name Style parameter
