When the social connect plugin is active on the page, for example in the login box, and ton the registration page there the possibility to the upload an avatar/image the upload always returns a img404 (I was expecting a text string instead of code here). If the social connect plugin is disabled or the plugin is selected not to show on the registration page then the error goes away.

However the avatar upload should work when the site is configured to show the socialconnect buttons on all page.

Have you tried to create a menu item of type Users->Registration Form to get the correct routing?

We have tried that but it doesn't make any difference. It still gives a img404 error as in attachment.

Hi,
sorry for late reply, we are investigating.

Please try to disable errors from System->Global Configuration->Server->Error Reporting (set to "None";). We does not want to disable errors, but unfortunately we are no able to replicate this issue, so we need to understand what's wrong.

Hi, I disabled joomla debug but the issue still persists. I am going to clean install joomla, install just easy profile and let you know the results.

Thanks, James
