After the Easy Profile 1.3.8 update, the custom redirect after login doesn't work anymore, it redirects always to the home page.

I didn't change settings, I double checked and in the easy profile settings page the redirect menu are correct, also the standard joomla login redirect is correct, but Easy Profile always redirect to the home page.

Hi,
this because now Easy Profile not override other Redirect parameter.

You can set redirect from each Login module, try to check parameter "Login Redirection Page" in module config, this is much more useful because for each module you can set the redirect, if missing this, Easy Profile do a redirect.

Attached to this post you will see configuration for your Login module.

You can choose redirect for each login module, Easy Profile login redirect now work only if missing others redirect.

Ok I found the problem, this is due to Joomla redirect.

Login module have hidden field to set redirect (chosen from module parameter), when user is not logged it can't generate correct url because menu item "Mijn Talentboek" is accessible only for registered users.

How to solve
there are many way to solve this.
- Workaround 1: set this menu item as "Public" and set Article as "Registered", with this the system can generate correct URL. But in your site this is not good because you see this menu item on menu bar
- Workaround 2: you can create a hidden menu item, with public access of type System Link->External URL and put in URL this link "index.php?Itemid=122", after you can set this menu item as Redirect on Login in module parameter. We have do it in your site, in hidden menu you can see menu item called "Redirect After Login"

Having taken note of this behavior, in next release we will return to the old method, so with next release the redirect set in Easy Profile Options will be forced and it will override all other configurations ;)

Hi,
sorry for late reply,

Hi, Any ideas how I can totally disable easyprofile redirecting the login?
In Easy Profile options (Components->Easy Profile->Option) set parameter "Redirect after login" on "Current", so Easy Profile do nothing and you will have normal Joomla Redirect.
